L-Cet is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of the natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose. L-Cet is used to treat symptoms of year-round (perennial) allergies in adults and children 2 years old and above. L-Cet is also used to treat itching and swelling caused by chronic urticaria (hives) in adults and children who are at least 2 years old.

Usage directions

Always use L-Cet Syrup exactly as your doctor has told you. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Adults and children from the age of 6 years: 10 ml solution once daily. For children from the age of 2 to 6 years: 2.5 ml solution twice daily.

Ingredients

Every 1 ml of the syrup contains 0.5 mg of Levocetirizine Hydrochloride.

Caution

Before taking L-Cet, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to cetirizine; or to hydroxyzine; or if you have any other allergies. This drug may make you drowsy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs alertness until you can do it safely.
